Nice to meet you.

The long journey home. That is how I describe my journey toward becoming a counselor. After spending over twenty years as a designer, it was time to make the change towards my heart’s calling as a healer. My whole life I have felt the desire to become a healer in some capacity, however the pathway was never clear. After attending a Women, Power and Peace conference at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY with all but one of the living female Nobel Peace Prize winners, I realized I could no longer stand by when hearing of the plight of women and children in the world. I knew I had to find a way to make a difference. And my work as a counselor is one leap in that direction. I have been deeply moved by the stories of people who have suffered at the hands of violence and torture. As well as those who struggle to find their place in life. It would be my honor to collaborate with you during a time of need.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Clinical Mental Health. I have additional training in Trauma Counseling, Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing.
